Auchineden Hill - 357m
Thursday 15th October 2009

Weather/Conditions: Clear skies and sunny weather; the clear air had a touch of winter in it. Windy at the beginning.
Distance/Ascent/Time: 5 km / 170m / c. 2h
Accompanying: Dad

A nice afternoon walk with dad across to the Whangie then up to Auchineden Hill. The weather was stunningly clear and I could feel the chill of the coming winter in the air. Although windy at the start of the walk, we spent ten minutes by the Whangie, sitting in the stillness and sunshine and enjoying the day. A brief visit was paid to the trig point at the top of the hill before descending back to the car.

A nice afternoon out.
