Weather/Conditions: Nice weather with some cloud cover and fairly nice sunset. Cold wind on top.
Distance/Ascent/Time: 3.7km / 400m / 2h 35m
Accompanying: Ian
Although going directly from the Distillery on the way up, we descended via. the Strathblane approach and contoured around the southern slopes beneath some cliffs I'd never taken notice of previously. Still, no rock climbing interest here - the whole lot was loose and crumbled beneath fingertips.
Also of interest was a fire on Quinloch Muir beneath the Auchineden Hill. The fire on the moor blazed throughout our walk, so on the way home, we stopped by to have a look although we were met with fire engines but no spectacular fire. Well, we could hope.
