Auchineden Hill - 357m
Monday 30th May 2016

Weather/Conditions: Stunning sunny day! Shorts and t-shirts.
Distance/Ascent/Time: 4.6km / 200m
Accompanying: Dad

A nice afternoon walk with dad. The weather was continuing to be absolutely lovely, so we headed first up to the Whangie. Part of me wanted to have a look around at the climbing, too. It was a good walk around, and I was still really sore from the Nevis round. But actually, this was very good to do as it got the muscles moving again. I could certainly feel my body was not recovered from the previous two days.

We stopped by the Whangie - I had a look around and only succeeded in doing one climb (a 7m Diff or something) before I got into a conversation with a guy who turned out to be a personal trainer. We chatted for ages; a lot about running, and the Scottish mountain ridges. After a long while, we moved on - dad and I up to the summit of Auchineden and over the top to the mast and down.

A really nice, short morning. Perfect.
