Am Meall - 414m
Friday 19th January 2018

Weather/Conditions: Thick winter conditions down to sea level. But not a bad day in between snow showers
Distance/Ascent/Time: 3.7km / 400m / c. 1h
Accompanying: Anna

Am Meall is a hill above Ballachulish, crowned by a mast and flanked by forestry. It is also understandably overlooked in favour of the surrounding mountains. But access from Ballachulish is quick and it was a top I had yet to climb.

Anna and I went up for a quick walk from Ballachulish - the trail starts around the quarries, so you can park at the Co-op. Not that we found any trails today, the snow was deep.

From the top; good views into Glen Coe. Weather was actually reasonable, but we were also racing some weather coming in - it finally arrived quite literally as we arrived back to the cars.
